The core principles and practices of safety and health can be integrated into training and education. Doing this in and out of the workplace can help build global awareness of the impact of work-related accidents, injuries and diseases. Training in the principles of safe and healthy work also makes a contribution to the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development more broadly.
