How we are run
Our Charter, Code of Conduct and policies
We were formed in 1945 and are now recognised around the world as the leading membership organisation for occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals. Chartered membership of IOSH is the hallmark of professional excellence.
Working practices
Our Royal Charter was granted in 2002. It recognises IOSH’s consistent achievement and competency in OSH and sets out how we are governed and the rules our members must follow.
Our Code of Conduct helps members show their professional value through high standards.
Our conflicts of interest policy is for our volunteers, contractors and employees.
