Jobs and career support
Whatever your career stage, we've got something for you
Our jobs board can help you find new and exciting health and safety opportunities. You can create an account to receive alerts and upload your CV, so recruiters can match you to their jobs. And if you are an IOSH member you can use our Career Hub to get tips on how to write your CV, improve your interview technique and more, to help you get ahead of the competition.
Do you want a job that could save lives? A diverse career offering opportunity and progression? Then occupational safety and health is a great choice.
Occupational safety and health professionals are enablers. They help workers return home safe and well every day – and they’re in demand in virtually every country and industry.
We can help you find the right health and safety qualification for your individual needs.
We accredit qualifications and programmes around the world. They offer a route into IOSH membership. We also offer two Ofqual-regulated occupational safety and health qualifications of our own.
Mentoring is a free benefit for our members. It provides a chance to identify knowledge gaps and learn from an experienced professional.
We offer three types of mentoring:
- career development – work on the areas you need to improve
- reverse – gain a new perspective from a less experienced professional
- peer-to-peer – support from someone at a similar job level or career stage.
Our jobs board is your global one-stop shop for finding new and exciting health and safety opportunities.

Need help with CPD?
We can provide support and guidance to ensure you remain compliant. If you are struggling to complete your CPD, or can't find what you need, please contact Professional Development and Standards or call them on +44 (0)116 257 3239. We can discuss the way ahead and apply a waiver if appropriate.
We also hold online workshops to support members with their CPD. These include a demonstration of how our CPD platform works and a chance to ask questions. All members can take part, subject to a maximum number of 35 participants per session.
