Get your qualification IOSH-accredited
For higher education institutions and awarding organisations
We accredit qualifications from higher education institutions and awarding organisations so that they meet the academic grade entry requirements for IOSH membership. We do this to improve competency in the occupational safety and health profession and influence workplace safety and health.
If you are a higher education institution or awarding organisation and would like to find out more about our accreditation service or make an application, please complete an enquiry form. You can also read our application guide in the downloads section of this page.
What's in it for you?
Prospective students can be confident that an IOSH-accredited qualification meets their learning and career development objectives. And our professional standards will prove attractive to occupational safety and health professionals, employers and educators.
Accreditation enables:
- access to student membership for your learners
- use of the IOSH logo in your marketing materials
- ongoing support from a dedicated point of contact at IOSH
- access to engagement activities and webinars for your learners.
What framework do we use?
We use the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) as a translation tool between different global national qualifications frameworks. We accredit at EQF levels:
- three to five for Technical membership
- six and above for Certified membership.
We offer continual support for you and your learners to make the most of your IOSH-accredited qualification.
