Our communities
As a member, you're part of a huge community of safety and health professionals.
We have branches around the world, including the Caribbean, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and West Africa. We also have 18 industry-specific groups. Join them to make new contacts, attend events and share best practice.
We also offer tailored support to new and aspiring professionals through our future leaders community. You'll automatically be signed up to this if you're a Student Member, aged 35 or under, or have five years or fewer safety and health experience.
Student exclusives
We can provide you with the right support at the start of your career through our Student membership. You may be eligible if you're studying for an IOSH-accredited qualification or are a safety, health and environment (SHE) technician apprentice. It costs just £15 for the duration of your studies.
You'll automatically be signed up to our future leaders community, plus you will receive our Student Connect e-newsletter and can apply for the IOSH Student Member Bursary.

IOSH post-nominals
Using your post-nominals is the quickest way to showcase your commitment and competence as a safety and health professional. Plus, they're recognised worldwide.
We can offer concessionary membership and assessment fees in certain circumstances. We can also make reasonable adjustments to our membership assessments when you want to move up the member grades. Find out about all the assistance on offer to new and existing members.
