HSE launches asbestos surveys

The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has launched three asbestos surveys. It says the results will help inform its assessment of options to deliver the Work and Pensions Committee’s recommendations related to asbestos management in Great Britain.
The surveys are aimed only at those who can share information on:
- specific costs related to Notifiable Non-Licensed Work and licenced work with asbestos
- costs related to asbestos surveying
- costs related to commissioning of four-stage clearance surveys.
The deadline for completion of the surveys is 23:45 BST on Friday 18 April.
