IOSH has just received huge recognition for its work, winning several awards at the Association Excellence Awards, which celebrate the achievements of trade bodies, professional membership organisations and associations.
IOSH was shortlisted in all five of the categories in which it submitted an entry:
- best awareness campaign or advancement of a cause
- best association newsletter or magazine (circulation over 25,000)
- best blog podcast or video
- best learning/professional development programme
- international association of the year.
For the quality of its editorial content, IOSH Magazine won two bronze awards, in the best magazine and best video series categories. In the professional development category, however, IOSH won the gold award trophy.
“It’s wonderful that IOSH Magazine goes from strength to strength, picking up awards left, right and centre. The two bronze awards it received are a fantastic achievement, and again underline just why members consistently rate it as one of the member benefits they value and enjoy most.
“I’m so pleased that we have been given such a wonderful endorsement for Blueprint, less than a year after its launch. I’m immensely proud of how we produced this excellent professional development tool, with the input of subject matter experts from within the membership. This public recognition we’ve received for Blueprint from the Association Excellence Awards gives us even greater confidence that our members have a superb resource to support their continuing professional development.”
The awards are a testament to the high standards IOSH sets itself. They follow on from the three highly-commended prizes IOSH won in September in the Memcom awards for membership organisations. The Institution will use all these awards to spur on its future efforts as its Activate 2028 strategy gets into its stride.
