We are delighted to offer speaking content for both days of the show. These will focus on key industry topics and our priority areas of artificial intelligence (AI), health and wellbeing, and social sustainability. Highlights include:

The digitalisation dilemma: balancing progress with worker protection

01 July, 09:45 – Digitalisation is moving faster than ever and businesses that ignore its human impact risk falling behind. IOSH’s white paper, The Digitalisation Dilemma, reveals critical gaps in worker safety, health, wellbeing and ethics during tech adoption. Join this presentation to uncover the biggest risks, hear insights from over 1,000 global leaders, and learn practical solutions such as embedding safety-by-design and resilience into your digital strategy, along with clear calls to action. Don’t miss the chance to future-proof your organisation.

Presenter: Richard Bate, President, IOSH

The practical and legal realities of mental health at work

01 July, 11:35 – As awareness of mental health in the workplace continues to grow, so too do the legal expectations placed on employers. But many organisations are still unclear on where their responsibilities begin and end - and what meaningful support really looks like beyond compliance.  This panel brings together legal and practical expertise to unpack the duties employers must meet, the risks of getting it wrong, and how to create a workplace that genuinely supports mental wellbeing.

Panel:

  • Macauley Quinn, Vice-President, IOSH
  • Tracey Dangerfield, Director, SkillBase First Aid
  • Stefan Desbordes, Associate, DAC Beachcroft.

Gen Z at work: rethinking risk, supervision and safety for a new generation

01 July, 13:30 – Gen Z is now firmly in the workforce, yet many safety frameworks weren't built with them in mind. Drawing on the Youth Voice Census, this session explores how young workers experience risk, supervision, and psychological safety – and what health and safety professionals need to adapt to protect and empower them.

Presenter: Lauren Mistry, Deputy CEO, Youth Employment UK
