Upgrades to our member services
What’s happening and how it affects you
We’re introducing a new membership database which means we need to make changes to the some of our online services and communication channels.
What’s the latest?
Previously, your member account and the main IOSH website were separate. Now it’s all in one place, so you won't need to switch between different sites.
When you log in, you’ll find your account easier to navigate. Your membership information is at the top. Below are your member websites, details and preferences.
Some of our online services are still unavailable while we switch to the new database. This includes:
- course and trainer directories
- training provider portal.
Training providers
During this time, training providers will not be able to:
- register your courses or delegates
- make purchases.
Why is this happening?
We want to improve your member experience and provide better online services.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this transition.
Closure of the IOSH Forums
The IOSH online Forums are now closed as of 05 January 2026. Notice of their closure was posted on the Forums themselves, the IOSH website, and shared via other IOSH communication channels.
Why are they closed?
The Forums were part of services hosted on an old platform (iosh.co.uk) that had reached the end of its secure life. We are replacing the Forums with access for all IOSH members to a new online community platform (currently available only to volunteers, including Council members, and our Future Leaders Community).
The new online communities platform will ultimately become the home for all IOSH Communities.
What’s next?
There will be a short gap between the Forums being closed and access to the new online communities platform being available to all members. As soon as the new platform is ready, we’ll communicate directly with all members and invite them on board.
Further information
We've published a list of common questions and answers and you can also get in touch to ask your own question or sign-up for updates.
Throughout 2026, we will continue to communicate with members about incremental improvements to member communication channels.
