The Modern Slavery Act 2015 encompasses all forms of slavery and human trafficking for exploitation.
It requires many UK businesses to publish an annual 'modern slavery statement' explaining the steps taken to prevent such exploitation in their operations and supply chains. It also encourages smaller companies to produce a ‘transparency statement’ about their recruitment practices and policies.
Our ‘Modern day slavery and human trafficking’ course explains the legislation and voluntary compliance guidance, so you can ensure your policies and procedures are up to date.
