Support for new occupational safety and health professionals

Our future leaders community is for new and aspiring occupational safety and health professionals. We want to make sure you have all the information and support you need. With a growing community of over 7,800 members, there's plenty of knowledge, experience and help available.

Our future leaders community is your chance to:

  • connect and network with fellow professionals
  • share professional and career development resources with each other
  • get free resources, delivered by the future leaders community steering group and industry leaders
  • access recordings of past events and webinars.

Who can join?

IOSH members will automatically be part of the future leaders community if they are:

    • a current student member, or
    • 35 years old or under, or
    • have five or fewer years' experience as an occupational safety and health professional.

If you’re a new or aspiring occupational safety and health professional and IOSH member but do not meet any of the criteria, you can still join the future leaders community. Please email our future leaders team with your name and membership number if you’d like to opt into the community.

Enter our competition and help us show the diversity of our profession and the small details of safety culture.
