Designing with health and safety in mind

A key element of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) is the need to understand and minimise health and safety risks during building design.

The IOSH ‘Designing with health and safety in mind’ course covers the main requirements of current legislation and guidance, analysis of risks and how to reduce them at design stage. 

Practical guidance about necessary health and safety documentation will also be discussed, particularly given changes 'post-Grenfell' contained in the ‘Building a Safer Future’ report.
